Today and tomorrow, low pressure will hold along the west coast through the weekend. Daytime temperatures should be near normal. Temperatures have slightly decreased from yesterday's highs in the valleys due to the marine layer. Temperatures have also dropped in the mountains and inland areas. (More)

Away from the beaches a warming trend will continue over the inland areas through Saturday with temperatures ranging from 5 degrees above normal through Thursday then 10 to 15 degrees above normal Friday and Saturday as the lower clouds retreat seaward.

However at the coast little change with at or below normal temperatures. A cooling trend is expected next week as low pressure aloft moves through.
