Jacob Dizon joined the KSBY News team in April 2022 as a multimedia journalist.
A proud graduate of Gonzaga University, Jacob graduated with a degree in Broadcast Studies and a minor in Spanish. While at Gonzaga, he served as a video journalist for the on-campus news production, GUTV, and interned at KHQ in Spokane, Washington.
After graduation, Jacob returned to his hometown of San Diego, where he spent time coordinating freelance videography projects for local community events and nonprofit organizations.
Eager to return to the newsroom, Jacob began working as an Associate Producer and Assignment Editor for NBC San Diego. There, he wrote scripts, edited video content for newscasts, and coordinated crews working the Assignment Desk.
In his free time, Jacob enjoys playing the electric guitar, exploring the outdoors, and traveling. He hopes to soon return to his favorite place in the world, Ireland, where he spent a semester abroad during college.
