High pressure is strong this weekend, it'll warm the interior valleys to 100+. The good news is the air is faily dry so the overnight lows should be mild enough so we can avoid excessive heat advisories.
Forecast highs are generally unchanged from earlier forecasts.
The weak onshore flow will provide some relief for coastal areas but even there temps will be at least a few degrees above normal.
Not expecting any records to be broken during this event as records are quite high and would likely require at least some offshore flow to reach.
So the weekend and Monday looks warm but Tuesday-Thursday the 4 corners high weakens and temps not only cool but should also produce below average temps by the middle of the week.
Expecting one last night of locally gusty northerly winds through the western portion of the Santa Ynez Range tonight. Similar speeds are expected this evening as last night with the strongest winds between 45 and 50 mph near Gaviota and Refugio.
