The Tolosa Children's Dental Center in San Luis Obispo (TCDC SLO) has some new gear thanks to the Division 24 Kiwanis Clubs.
The clubs gifted a total of $12,000 to purchase a new dental chair for the center.
At a thank you reception on March 5, 2020, Dan Copp, DDS and artist Kate Moldauer were also recognized for their generous donations.
Copp donated three televisions that children can watch during dental treatments.
Moldauer was recognized for her original artwork designed for the new TCDC SLO Dental Center.
TCDC has been treating children in San Luis Obispo County since 2003 and is the only nonprofit pediatric dental center in SLO County.
Last year alone, TCDC treated more than 6,000 local children.
