People in Goleta will likely hear a test of the siren system at Ellwood Onshore Facility Tuesday.
The test is expected to last one to two minutes.
The siren will be heard along Highway 101 in the Goleta area.
Santa Barbara County Fire Officials want to remind residents, schools and businesses that it is only a test and no action is required.
The test is being done by Beacon West Energy Group.
