Public Safety officials in Santa Barbara County are working to make sure residents are prepared for the winter storms.

Community members in Santa Barbara County are invited to see the public release of an Interactive Debris Flow Risk Map.

This map will help identify areas in the community that are at extreme risk of heavy debris flow or flooding this winter. It is also an opportunity for residents to speak to first responders and authorities about how to develop a family disaster plan.

The meeting is sponsored by the Montecito Fire Department and the Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency Management (OEM), Carpinteria Summerland Fire District and 1st District Supervisor Das Williams.

MEETING TIME & LOCATION
Thursday December 5, at 5:30 p.m.
Montecito Union School
385 San Ysidro Road
Santa Barbara, CA

The meeting will also be livestreamed on the County's CSBTV cable 20 or on youtube.
