Already parts of the Central Coast are getting a taste of warm fall temps but the current conditions will likely pale compared to the set-up for the weekend into early next week.
This morning northeasterly winds pushed most marine clouds out to sea and produced warmer temperatures at beaches and coastal valleys.
A ridge of high pressure will builds from now thru the weekend. More northeasterly winds will develop during the night and morning hours continuing to push temperatures up into early next week. The offshore component looks to weaken at beaches early next week where we could see some marine cloud cover but away from the beach the lighter winds will drive the 90s to 100+ degree temps.
I think the ridge lingers to Wednesday then breaks down Thursday and Friday and northwesterly winds develop along the coastline pulling temperatures back.
