Marine clouds look to linger at beaches while inland temps stay warm

Low clouds re-developed as expected at the beaches today and that cloud deck looks to expand tonight into Friday. With generally light winds the low clouds at the beaches will likely be stubborn but the coastal valleys should clear. All this cloud deck is too low to be of any cooling help for the interior.

Not much chance in this forecast thru Saturday.

A thermal trough of low pressure will continue to draw in light W-SW winds. The low clouds can produce areas of mist and drizzle during the night and morning hours and could also produce limited visibility.

A breeze should develop Sunday for a little better clearing but models still shows cloud cover.
The jet pattern has enough of a ridge that inland areas will stay warm all the way thru next week. Sunday could be near 100 for some inland.

A weak low-pressure system arrives Wednesday of next week. More light winds and a lot of marine layer is expected with a coastal trend of mild temps.
