Warm weather thru Thursday

and last updated

High pressure is dominating the Central Coast and driving northeasterly winds during the morning hour that will turn northwest in the afternoons and increase to 15-25mph.

The wind and high pressure will ensure sunny skies and above average temps thru Wednesday.

Wednesday will be the warmest day with triple-digit temps in the inland valleys and low 90s in the coastal valleys. The beaches will range between the mid to high-70s and lower 80s.

The high-pressure ridge producing the hot weather weakens Thursday into Friday morning, then onshore winds will become more dominant.

The marine layer clouds return to coastal areas with drizzle and cooler temperatures Thursday through Saturday.

Northwesterly winds pick up Saturday into Sunday but temps will warm again into next week, especially inland.
