The upper low which has given us plenty of lingering showers this week is slowly drifing south and taking the rain opportunities along with it.
The overnight conditions look like we could see another round of low clouds in the wind sheltered valleys as plenty of low level moisture lingers from days of showers, but other than that Saturday should be partly cloudy with highs in the low to mid 60s.
Temps likely take a step back Sunday with more cloud cover, partial afternoon clearing is likely but low to mid 60s would be about it for coastal highs with interior valleys into the middle 60s.
Much warmer conditions develop after that as a ridge builds to our west and temps rocket into the 70s with some 80 degree potential for some Tuesday and Wednesday before another cut-off low looks to drift into the region from the NW. At this point I'll go with cooler temps heading into next weekend but keeping rain out, but I'll have to re-examine that next week as the system develops.
