Mild into the weekend when rain returns Sunday

Temps cooled today near the coast with more onshore flow. Spring winds have also been a factor. For the next few days we'll see a lot of highs in the lower to middle 60s at the coast with sunny to partly cloudy skies. Interior valleys will also likely be in the 60s but some scattered 70s are possible.

Winds are the big weather issue currently. A wind advisory returns for the SB Southcoast for N winds 20-30 with some gust potential to 45mph, the advisory lasts until Thursday at 3am.

There is also a high surf advisory for the Central Coast for 7-11ft break and dangerous rip. The wind situation is fueling these short period swells.

Otherwise little change until we get into Saturday. Saturday we start to cool in advance of the storm system for Sunday-Monday, it could linger into early Tuesday. Models are currently suggesting .25-.75" with perhaps as much as 1" of rain. I expect we'll keep adjusting that forecast as the system gets closer.
