ORIGINAL STORY: Spectrum customers in San Luis Obispo County reported an outage at about 7 p.m. Sunday night.
According to Spectrum's outage map, several areas around the county are being effected.
They don't have an estimate of how many people have lost service, but Spectrum's outage map says the majority of customers are without internet.
Customers across the nation are also reporting outages.
Recent reports mostly originate from Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Houston.
We contacted Spectrum and they were not able to provide any extra information at this time.
