A California Army National Guard convoy will travel from Fort Irwin in Southern California to Camp Roberts in northern San Luis Obispo County this Friday, April 6.
The National Guard says locals should expect to see military vehicles on highways 46, 58, 99, and 101 throughout the day.
The vehicles will reportedly travel in four separate groups and include more than 20 Stryker combat vehicles, a Humvee, a Heavy Equipment Trailer, and a fuel truck.
They’re coming to Camp Roberts in preparation for training on the base.
A second, larger convoy is reportedly expected in May.
