Getting to your gate at the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport just got a little easier. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is opening a second security lane to move travelers along more efficiently.
"The move allows our travelers to get through security faster than ever before," said Kevin Bumen, Director of Airports. "TSA is committing additional resources to our airport because they see how we’ve been growing, and continue to grow."
The new bag screening lane will add more security officers at screening checkpoints and comes ahead of plans to accommodate larger planes and an additional United Airlines non-stop flight to Denver, according to airport management.
It is still recommended that travelers arrive at least 90 minutes before their flight departure.
