Tree trimming crews have been hard at work along the south side of Lompoc’s H Street.
The historic Stone Pines have been trimmed to help protect residents in the area and keep the trees healthy, according to City officials.
Parts of some of the trees in recent months have come crashing down, blocking the road and creating safety hazards.
The rows of trees along H Street were planted in the 1930s. They are recognizable as they create a unique canopy umbrella over the street.
