Voters will get to hear from the candidates running in the San Luis Obispo County sheriff primary race at a forum Wednesday.
Sheriff Ian Parkinson will square off against challenger Gregory Clayton. They will also take questions at the forum, which is hosted by the Latino Outreach Council and will be moderated by attorney Jacqueline Frederick. Spanish translation will also be provided.
The free event will be at the County Government Center on Monterey Street in downtown SLO. The forum is expected to run from 6 to 8 p.m. with a reception beforehand at 5:30 p.m.
The primary election is June 5.
