The County of San Luis Obispo Parks and Recreation Department is holding a public workshop on Tuesday, May 15, to help determine park needs in the Nipomo area.

The county recently hired a consulting firm to study the parks and recreational needs in San Luis Obispo County. The firm’s findings will be presented at the public workshop on Tuesday and attendees are encouraged to provide feedback on the Nipomo community’s park, recreation, and open space needs.

Nipomo residents are welcomed to join the conversation on May 15 at 6 p.m. at the Nipomo Community Services District Board Room, located at 148 South Wilson Street.
