One person was stabbed Tuesday night in Santa Barbara and police are out looking for the victim’s attacker.
Police said a call came into 911 around 8:05 p.m. Officers responded to San Andres St. & W. Anapamu St., where the stabbing had just occurred.
The Santa Barbara Police Department says two people were found at the scene on Santa Barbara’s Westside. One of them had been stabbed.
The victim was taken to the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital emergency room for treatment. The second person was a friend trying to flag down cars to get help, police said.
As of 11 p.m., investigators were trying to figure out who stabbed the victim and whether or not the attack was gang-related or drug-related.
