Military veterans received a warm welcome home Wednesday night as they returned from a tour of honor to Washington D.C.
Welcome Military Heroes and Honor Flight Central Coast of California welcomed 22 WWII and Korean War veterans at San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport.
Sheriff Ian Parkinson and District Attorney Dan Dow were among those shaking hands as the veterans came into the airport terminal.
Nichola Mente went on the honor flight tour of D.C. with her grandfather, U.S. Army Cpl. Floyd York, who served overseas in Great Britain and Germany during WWII. She was kind enough to share some photos of their trip.
