The first legal medicinal cannabis dispensary opens in Grover Beach Saturday, with high expectations and joint activities during the ribbon-cutting ceremony, according to organizers.
"805 Beach Breaks" will open its doors to residents who are over the age of 21 beginning at 9 a.m. The ceremonial event itself is open to residents who are older than 18.
There will be elected officials from the county – including the Arroyo Grande and Grover Beach Chamber of Commerce – food vendors, and live music with an anticipated appearance from Sublime with Rome to celebrate the opening day.
The store is located at 1053 Highland Way in Grover Beach, between south 4th and 13th streets.
