Avila Beach Blues Fest kicked off on Sunday for the 25th year.
Special guest performer Pryor Baird made an appearance at the event. Baird is an Orcutt native and NBC’s The Voice competitor, who says home is where the heart is.
"It doesn’t matter what you do, whether you’re a professional athlete or a professional musician, home is home and those are your friends and those are your family and those are the people who make you who you are, and you must remember that and you must stay focused on that," Baird said.
The event was free this year to thank supporters during the 25th anniversary.
