Firefighters say wearing a seatbelt most likely prevented a man from suffering major injuries when he flipped his car Tuesday morning.
The crash happened at about 6 a.m. near Highway 1 and Oso Flaco Lake Rd. in Guadalupe, according to CHP logs.
Guadalupe Fire officials say when first responders got to the crash scene, they found the driver had already gotten himself out of the vehicle.
The car reportedly rolled multiple times before it stopped on its roof about 250 feet off the roadway.
Fire officials say the driver walked away with only minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is now under investigation.
