People from the Greek community on the Central Coast celebrated their heritage on Saturday.
The San Luis Obispo Greek Festival welcomed people down to Mission Plaza.
With authentic Greek food including delicious gyros and homemade baklava, people also joined in on dancing to classic Greek, even those who are only Greek in spirit.
"All you have to do is say ‘Opa!’" said Paul Georghiou, "It’s an exclamation of joy, and you’re part of the family."
The fun continues on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Cal Poly Greek Student Dance Troupe will perform again with a final dance at 4.
