SATURDAY, JUNE 9

World Oceans Day
10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History Sea Center, 211 Stearns Wharf, Santa Barbara
The Sea Center is celebrating World Oceans Day by offering free admission. The theme of this year’s World Oceans Day is preventing plastic pollution and encouraging solutions for a healthy ocean. Visitors will be able to explore a kelp forest, speak with marine biologists about the impact of the Thomas Fire on marine life, meet with researchers, watch a Harbor Patrol Fire Boat water display, and more.

Los Olivos Jazz and Olive Festival
1-4 p.m.
Lavinia Campbell Park, 2398 Alamo Pintado Ave., Los Olivos
Listen to world-class professional jazz musicians while tasting wine from 30 local wineries and sampling olive-themed dishes prepared by local chefs.
Tickets: $70 for adults; $10 for children under 12
