A teen driver was taken to the hospital after a car crash in Santa Maria.
Police officials say the driver is around 19-years-old and was headed south on Preisker Lane at
3 a.m. Friday morning when the driver lost control.
The driver was the only person in the vehicle and was transported to Marian Regional Hospital for minor injuries.
There were no other vehicles involved.
Police say it is unclear if the driver was under the influence, however a DUI investigation is underway.
