A gas leak temporarily shut down roads in Atascadero Saturday afternoon.
Atascadero Fire says an unattended vehicle rolled into a gas meter and separated it from the gas line on the 3600 block of El Camino Real.
Fire crews were on scene, spraying the area with water to reduce static electricity until SoCalGas arrived.
No one was hurt. The events leading up to the crash are unknown.
Chris Robinson, acting captain, says the small concentrated amount of leaking gas is not a threat to the public.
Viewers called KSBY reporting a traffic jam in the area, but no other reports were made.
