A winning horse with local ties is heading for the Triple Crown at the Belmont Stakes Saturday afternoon.
Justify, the horse with ties to Montecito, previously won the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness races this year.
Just 12 horses have swept the Triple Crown, one of the rarest feats in sports.
No Triple Crown winner has faced more than seven rivals in the Belmont, so Justify could be the first, according to the Associated Press.
Justify was the first colt in 136 years to win the Kentucky Derby.
