The Arroyo Grande Police Department’s K9 "Tig" has some new gear thanks to the non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9’s, Inc.
Tig’s new bullet and stab protective vest was sponsored by The Hausman Family Foundation. The vest comes embroidered with the sentiment, "Gifted by the Hausman Family Foundation."
The vests cost as much as $2,283.
