Emergency crews who responded to a report of a vehicle in a creek along Highway 166 Thursday morning reportedly found the vehicle empty.
It happened shortly before 11:30 a.m. at Alamo Creek Road, east of Twitchell Reservoir.
Authorities say the white Ford Bronco went off the side of the highway, 400 feet down a hill, and through a barbed wire fence.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
