Two people were sent to the hospital following a major-injury crash reported in Atascadero Sunday afternoon, according to CHP’s Traffic Incident Page.
The crash happened just before 1:30 p.m. on Highway 101 near the Traffic Way exit.
The two were reportedly riding on the motorcycle before the crash, however, it’s unknown what caused the crash and if another vehicle was involved.

The highway was temporarily blocked but has since opened around 2:15 p.m., according to CHP. Traffic congestion is expected.
