Santa Barbara Police are investigating a stabbing that reportedly happened Sunday night at 8:30 p.m.
Officials say a homeless man was sleeping on a bus bench on Santa Barbara Street when he was woken up by another man and got into a fight.
Police say the transient noticed he was stabbed after the altercation.
The man was rushed to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released.
The Santa Barbara Police are continuing to investigate. No arrests have been made.
