It’s been one year since the Hill Fire started near Santa Margarita and destroyed four homes.
It began on June 26, 2017 on Park Hill Road and La Entrada, east of Santa Margarita and burned 1,598 acres.
Full containment was reached just four days after it started.
About 250 people were evacuated. No injuries were reported.
One of the homes lost was owned by actor Johnny Galecki, star of "The Big Bang Theory."
