Two juveniles and one male adult have been arrested Monday night after a fight in downtown, according to the Santa Barbara Police Department.

Santa Barbara Police responded to calls of numerous people becoming violent in downtown at around 8:59 p.m. Reports say those involved were throwing bottles, swinging pipes and using benches to attack one another on Bath and Haley Streets.

When offices arrived three of the suspects fled the scene in a car that had the windows broken out of it. After a short pursuit, a felony stop was conducted on Garden and Coda Streets. Officials say the three men were uncooperative despite a K-9 presence and armed police force. Two juveniles and one adult male were eventually taken into custody.

Police say the adult male was booked in the county jail with felony charges and assault with a deadly weapon. The two juveniles were taken to juvenile hall and are facing misdemeanor charges.

Officials say they believe the fight to be gang-related. There were no serious injuries reported.
