Police are hoping to track down the owners of a dog who was reportedly hit by a car in San Luis Obispo.
SLOPD posted on Facebook Thursday morning, saying the small dog was found in the area of Madonna Road and Higuera Street.
He was taken to an animal hospital in Atascadero to be treated for cuts, officials say.
Police say the dog is expected to make a full recovery.
Anyone with information on the dog or its owners is asked to call SLOPD.
