Heat backs off Wednesday

Tuesday more morning offshore returns setting the stage for another warm, but not quite as hot day here on the Central Coast.

One of the reasons why it will not be as bad as the last few days is a little stronger onshore developing in the afternoon hours.  NW winds up to 25mph are possible.  So, high temps will happen before 1pm for nearly everyone except the deeper interior valleys.

Inland heat will still crest 100 on Tuesday.  Wednesday more broad cooling takes place.  Onshore winds and weakening ridge of high pressure is the reason why.  Inland temps drop to around 90 and stay close to that for the balance of the week with a little warming into the upcoming weekend.

The second half of the week could see a bit more mugginess as the monsoon keep trying to push in from the east.  We appear on the edge of it, so at this point just bears some watching.
