UPDATE (1:50 p.m.) – CAL FIRE says forward progress of the fire has been stopped. It burned approximately 14 acres and remains 40 percent contained.

UPDATE (12:55 p.m.) – Firefighters are expected to remain on scene of the fire conducting mop-up operations for the next three to four hours. The fire is now 40 percent contained, according to CAL FIRE.
UPDATE (12:20 p.m.) – As of 12:20 p.m., CAL FIRE says the fire is holding at between 15 and 20 acres. It is 10 percent contained.
UPDATE (12 p.m.) – CAL FIRE says ground crews are just beginning to access the fire, which is burning in "challenging terrain."

UPDATE (11:45 a.m.) – CAL FIRE reports the fire has grown to 10 acres and additional aircraft are being ordered.
Firefighters responded to a grass fire at Lake Nacimiento late Tuesday morning.
The fire was reported on the 6000 block of Gage Irving Road, which is on the south side of the lake.
Multiple resources have been called to respond to the fire. CAL FIRE says the first aircraft at the scene reported approximately one acre burned.
