Guests at the Landsby Hotel in Solvang were evacuated early Wednesday morning due to a kitchen fire.
Santa Barbara County Fire responded to reports of a fire at the hotel at approximately 5:21 a.m. Wednesday.
When officials arrived, they found smoke coming from the kitchen area of the hotel.
Firefighters say an area in the kitchen was on fire and burning to a wall that extended to the basement.
Fire officials were able to keep the fire contained to the kitchen and the basement.
All hotel guests were evacuated while firefighters controlled the flames. They were all allowed back in once the fire was under control.
Firefighters remained on scene investigating the cause of the fire and making sure all the hot spots were out.
The Landsby Hotel will remain open; however, the kitchen will be closed until repairs are finished.
