San Luis Obispo police are asking for help identifying a man who reportedly used a cinder block to vandalize a business along Foothill Boulevard early Monday morning.

The owner of Cork ‘n’ Bottle Liquor Store on the 700 block of Foothill Boulevard says the man seen in the surveillance photos wearing a black jacket and white mask covering his hair and portion of his face broke the glass on the store’s front door at about 4:30 a.m.

The man police say vandalized the liquor store in San Luis Obispo early Monday morning.

The alarm sounded and the owner believes that is what caused the man to run off. Nothing was taken.

Police say damage is estimated at more than $5,000.
