The Los Padres National Forest will have extra staffing for through Wednesday afternoon due to extreme fire conditions.
Forest officials tweeted Monday, saying due to "critical fuel conditions and extreme fire danger" the department would go into a 24-hour staffing cycle over the course of two days.
This came after a Red Flag Warning was issued in Santa Barbara County for high winds, relative humidity, high temperatures and fire threats.
The Red Flag Warning is in effect until 9 p.m. Tuesday.
