Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab is partnering with United Blood Services to host a blood drive at its new Santa Maria location on Monday, Aug. 13.
The blood drive will be held at the ice cream shop, located at 725 E. Betteravia Rd., from 1-6 p.m. Everyone who donates a pint of blood will receive a pint of ice cream from Doc Burnstein’s.
Donors must be at least 16-years-old and in good health. You can fill out your Health History Questionnaire on the United Blood Services website the day of your donation.
United Blood Services says every two to three seconds, someone is in need of blood.
