Staff awarded three two-night stays at Hotel Serra Tuesday, offering people the chance to become some of the first guests at the high-end San Luis Obispo hotel.
The contest started several months ago. Staff organized an Instagram scavenger hunt, asking people to try some of the most popular tourist activities around San Luis Obispo and post about it.
They selected the top competitors to enter into the raffle drawing Tuesday. All of the winners will get the VIP treatment and be able to swim in the hotel’s rooftop pool.
One of the winners said she used the scavenger hunt to spend time with her sister and they will be taking the hotel trip together.
My little sister and I, we love to do little girls night out. This will be the ultimate girls night out, get to stay in a fancy hotel, be in a super nice swimming pool and just get to enjoy all the luxuries of being in a premium hotel in downtown SLO," said Danielle Power.
Hotel Serra is expected to open in early 2019.
