A new police station and parking structure could be coming to down Santa Barbara. The city council approved thee next phase of the project this week. Now the search is on for a location. The council is considering both city owned property and private land but the goal is to build the new station downtown and out of the flood zone. The city hopes to have the location locked down by the end of the year.
