Local law enforcement officers and Congressional candidate Justin Fareed will join together for a press conference on crime and safety measures Tuesday morning.
Fareed and San Luis Obispo County sheriff Ian Parkinson, along with members of the Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriff’s Association and other members of law enforcement, plan to discuss solutions for "addressing violent crime and improving public safety."
The media advisory says a new initiative and messaging campaign will be released during the press conference.
The press conference will be at 9 a.m. at Preisker Park, located at 330 Hidden Pines Way, Santa Maria.
