The Santa Maria Police Department requested help from the public Monday to help them identify suspects in two unrelated sexual assaults.

Police say a Hispanic man in his mid-20’s, with a short, faded haircut, facial hair and skull tattoo on his knee may have been involved with a reported sexual assault on the 1700 block of south Thornburg in Santa Maria between February and March of this year.

Another sexual assault was reported between March and April of this year near Guadalupe. This time, there were three suspects, however, none of them were arrested or identified. Witnesses say one man was Hispanic with tattoos on his arms and face, another man was white, with a skeleton tattoo on one of his arms and a heart tattoo under his right eye, and the third suspect was a black man with a shaved or bald head with tattoos on his arms.

Police say these assaults don’t seem to be related, but officers would like help in bringing these suspected men in for questioning.
