Santa Maria police arrested a 19-year-old Santa Maria man on Thursday in connection with a stabbing that sent a man to the hospital earlier in the week.
Randy Esparza-Estrada was taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder. He was arrested at a home in the 1200 bock of Creston Road in Paso Robles.
The stabbing occurred early Tuesday evening in the 900 block of North Palisades. A male victim reportedly suffered multiple stab wounds.
