KVEC radio host Dave Congalton is taking action to sue the driver he says is responsible for a crash that left him with serious leg injuries.
On June 30, Congalton was walking in downtown San Luis Obispo when he was struck by a car at Marsh and Chorro streets. The driver was not arrested.
Congalton spent several days in the hospital and returned to the airwaves in late July.
In a complaint filed against the alleged driver, Congalton claims he has suffered wage loss, hospital and medical expenses, general damage, and loss of earning capacity. He is seeking more than $25,000 in damages.
