Santa Maria Fire responded to reports of a compost fire Tuesday night.
Fire officials say reports of a compost fire came in around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday near Main Street and Ray Road in Santa Maria.
Officials say the fire was on a company property, and have not released the name of that company.
Officials say members of that company helped firefighters put out the fire.
There are no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
