A deadly multi-vehicle crash in Kings County prompted the closure of Highway 41 Thursday afternoon and was affecting traffic into San Luis Obispo County.
It happened at about 3:30 p.m. on Highway 41 between Interstate 5 and Highway 33.
Two people were reportedly killed in the crash.
Highway 41 was closed in both directions. Drivers traveling between the Central Coast and the Central Valley are advised to use Highway 46 as a detour.
It is unknown when the roadway will be reopened.
