Locally, this is the fourth report of counterfeit bill use in the last two months. In late August, police say a Santa Maria teen tried to use fake money at school.
About a week before that report, San Luis Obispo Police was searching for a man accused of using fake money at the Madonna Inn.
In early August, counterfeit money was used at several businesses in Cambria and San Simeon.
