Some major roads in Paso Robles will have different speed limits. On Tuesday, the City Council approved adjusting the speed limits for 10 roads in the city.
Nine of the 10 will have lower speed limits, including major roadways like Niblick Road and Spring Street. The speed limit for both streets will be lowered by five miles per hour. Niblick Road used to have a 40 mph speed limit, but it will now be 35 mph. Spring street used to have a 35 mph speed limit, but it will now be 30 mph.
Meadowlark Road was the only street to see an increase in its speed limit, with a change from 40 to 45 miles per hour.
